Vlieseline H640 Volume Fleece Batting is a soft, medium loft, iron-on fusible fleece interfacing. It is ideal for topstitch work, quilting, and relief applications like voluminous tiebacks or braidings, as well as for creating warm clothing. Perfectly suited for light to medium-weight fabrics, H640 boasts a weight of 131 grams per square metre. Renowned for its ease of use, H640 is one of the thickest iron-on battings available, offering high resistance to slippage during stitching and ensuring it remains securely in place. H640 is crafted from a durable blend of 40% R-PES and 60% PES (Polyesters) synthetic fibres, making it reliably fusible and easy to iron on. To apply, position the interlining with the coated side against the reverse side of your fabric, cover with a damp cloth, and iron for approximately 15 seconds. Work section by section without pushing the iron. After fixing, lay the bonded pieces flat to cool for about 30 minutes to ensure the bond stabilizes. Measuring 90cm wide, H640 is available in various lengths, from half-metre cuts up to a 30-metre roll, and can also be supplied as fat quarters. This batting is white and is supplied as a 3-metre length.
