Bayrol Super Clear – Ideal for All Filter Types, Especially Cartridge Filters
Dealing with green or cloudy water? In challenging conditions such as very high temperatures, thunderstorms, or exceptionally heavy bather loads, standard disinfection may not be sufficient, leading to common water problems like turbidity, algae, and unpleasant odors. In such cases, a shock chlorination with Bayrol Chlorifix or Chloriclar can be effective. This involves a short-term overdose of chlorine (approximately 5 – 10 mg/l) and circulating the water for at least 24 hours. Container size: 0.5 L. Bayrol Super Clear is a liquid turbidity remover with a powerful clarifying effect. This ready-to-use concentrate removes the finest suspended particles from the water, making it crystal clear. Unlike solid flocculants, which are typically designed for sand filter systems (e.g., Bayrol Superflock Plus) and can quickly clog cartridge filters, Super Clear is uniquely suited for use with cartridge filters. Before adding, check the pH value and ensure it is within the ideal range of 7.0 to 7.4. Add 10 ml of Super Clear per 10 m³ of water, undiluted, directly into the pool while the circulation pump is running. Allow the circulation pump to run for at least 8 hours after addition. If the water remains cloudy after this period, it indicates organic contamination. In such instances, perform a shock chlorination using Bayrol Chlorifix or Chloriclar.
The 4-Step Bayrol Pool Care System
Step 1: pH Regulation The most important prerequisite for optimal pool care is a correctly set pH value. This must be checked regularly – at least once a week. Consider using Bayrol e-pH Minus or e-pH-Plus, and e-Alca-Plus for low alkalinity.
Step 2: Disinfection Not only do bathers feel comfortable in your swimming pool, but various micro-organisms do too. Effective water disinfection is crucial for destroying bacteria and micro-organisms. Choose from: With chlorine: Bayrol Chlorilong chlorine tablets, Complete & Easy, or Chlorifix / Chloriclar (for addressing water problems). With active oxygen: Bayrol Soft and Easy. With Bromine: Bayrol Aquabrome.
Step 3: Algae Prevention Timely prevention of algae growth is necessary to inhibit their development and prevent unsightly turbidity or even widespread algae carpets. Bayrol recommends products like Desalgin or Desalgin Jet (which is completely foam-free).
Step 4: Flocculation For achieving crystal-clear water, we recommend the use of a flocculant. Flocculation binds the finest turbidity substances into larger “flakes” that are then trapped in the filter. Use Bayrol Superflock Plus for sand filters, or Bayrol Super Clear (this product!) for cartridge filters.
